Le groupe Crime Mob prépare actuellement la sortie d'un nouvel album pour succéder à leur premier opus sorti en 2003.

Intitulé « Hated On Mostly », ce nouveau projet verra la participation de Lil Scrappy. D'ailleurs, ce dernier n'est pas avare de compliments pour le groupe : « Si vous écoutez l'album, ils font ce qu'ils ont déjà fait sur le premier album, mais c'est encore meilleur, il y a eu beaucoup de progrès. » Et d'ajouter : « Ils auraient pu faire dans la facilité mais au lieu de cela, ils ont écouté leurs c½urs. C'est un groupe dont les membres, qui sont talentueux, auraient pu se lancer dans des carrières solos, mais ils sont restés ensembles, en travaillant constamment. Je crois en eux et ils sont sur la bonne voie. »

Le groupe espère au moins faire une aussi bonne performance qu'avec leur premier album, qui avait alors atteint la 5ème place du Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Charts ; le single « Knuck If You Buck » avait par ailleurs été parmi les meilleures ventes de sonneries, tout genre confondu.

Récemment, Crime Mob a tourné le clip de leur premier et nouveau single « Rock Yo Hips » sous la direction de Dr. Teeth et ça a été aussi l'occasion pour le groupe de lancer le « Rock Yo Hips Dance » qui gageons le, fera très bientôt fureur dans les clubs. « Hated On Mostly » sera dans les bacs le 9 janvier chez Reprise/BME Recordings.
